Telepathy: Perspective, How-To, ect.
I do not, as said in previous "How-To" post, believe any gift is unlearnable. Have faith in yourself, lovely being.
Telepathy is such a powerful gift. It is the ability to read minds and can be a stronger form of the ability Empathy.
I personally can read minds, send thoughts, send emotions, but most importantly, receive anything and everything from any mind or person I come by. I can also dig through memories and feel people's personalities from thinking of them. I can't quite talk to people in their minds like a voice in their head but I can send images and show things to people as well as describe things, places, or people they know or have seen without prior knowledge if asked to demonstrate my ability. When emotional enough, I have also demonstrated the ability to cause hallucinations, nightmares, and phantom pain in people though I refrain from attempting this on purpose unless in danger (though I am more likely to use telekinesis or simply teleport in that case.)
Telepathy is based on the whole brain but is easily described as a sensation on the back of the head and primarily the left side of the brain but with occasional right side usage as well. I've also had, in extreme cases, pain in my forehead and temples from over using telepathy.
Exercises for developing and honing telepathic ability:
I will not focus on the ability of empathy but empathy is a great and natural companion to telepathy. Telepathy came with empathy for me.
Have someone you trust and who you've been around a lot take your hands. Lay your hands on top of theirs. Figure out who is going to be the sender and who is going to be the receiver.
For the sender: Think of a place in as vivid detail as possible including sound, smell, and temperatures as if you are there.
Reciever: Describe all colors, sensations, sounds, and things that come to mind. Do not leave anything out.
Repeat exercise until you are good enough at it. The ability will develop on it's own after these exercises but you can find other ways to read minds, such as hearing thoughts before people speak them, word association, and understanding animals.
